‘Tis the Season for Special Events

Planning a holiday event can be a daunting task if you don’t work with the right vendors. Contact Clear Sound Atlanta for a complimentary quote for your upcoming event. Whether you’re planning for 50 or 1,00 attendees, we will work with you to design a system that’s right for your event.

Below are 4 Tips for Planning a Holiday Event:

Save the date
If you’re having more than 100 people, you should try to get the party date as soon as possible. It’s advantageous to have several preferred dates in mind, in case the best venue is already booked.

Less is more
You may want to let many people have a voice in planning the event; however, usually a maximum of 3 to 5 people works better. Try to avoid too many “cooks” in the “kitchen.”

Slay the procrastination monster
Yes, everyone has a tendency to put off making decisions….we sympathize with you, but don’t let the procrastination monster get the best of you. There comes a point in the planning process where indecisiveness creates more work. For example, if you have set a date in January, but can’t decide on a theme ………you’ll be stuck, unable to plan the decor, food, etc….months may go by and you’re left with a big headache or worst!

Don’t try to do it all yourself
Yes, you may have a ton of great ideas, but once the planning commences, what was fun may begin to feel like an overwhelming workload. We can offer 2 suggestions:

  1. Ask for help, but remember not to involve too many people.
  2. Contact Clears Sound Atlanta. We can provide sound reinforcement and we can provide referrals from our preferred vendor list for: banquet halls, caterers, musicians and djs, invitation designers, photographers, etc. To begin the process, at no obligation, fill out our contact form.
